Nylon Mounting Strap for Melia Baby- & Toddler Seat Bowl

We have made nylon straps that secure the toddler or baby seat to the bike at the top. We use the original straps that are inserted through the holes in the seat and secured in the original places. The nylon strap ensures that the toddler scale stays neatly in position. So your child always sits safely in Melia baby- and toddler Seat bowls. The nylon strap comes with 2 plastic wedges.

We assemble the baby seat with a specially tailored nylon strap(1). This requires some technical insight.
This strap (1) ensures that the baby seat does not hang loose in the Urban Arrow belts (2).
We do not use the straps that come with the toddler seat, but the original Urban Arrow straps (2).

1) Unscrew the straps from the top of the tube.
2) Loosen the cross screw at the bottom of the seat.
3) Push the yellow plates next to the belt into the seat, giving the metal bottom some distance from the seat fabric.
4) Pull out the lower belt between them.
5) Put the lower strap back through the hole in the toddler seat.
6) Put the lower strap back between the seat and screw the bottom plate back on (remove the yellow plates and tighten).
7) Fold the toddler seat back onto the seat.
8) Thread the supplied nylon cord through the back of the toddler seat (see photo below).
9) pass the belt along the top 2x.
10) screw the extra belt + the 2 straps back onto the top tube.
